ILBW Warehouse Associate

About the role

This position is an hourly role at Grainger, a leading broad line distributor. Shifts are available from 4:00am-2:30pm, 8:00am-6:30pm, 7:00am-5:30pm, all on a 4x10 schedule with one day off per week.

Shift

• Monday-Friday 4:00am-2:30pm
• Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:30pm
• Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm

Compensation

• This position is hourly, starting at $21.75/hour with three raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $22.95/hour.
• $1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators.

You Will

• Safely complete inbound and outbound warehouse tasks, e.g. unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing.
• Ensure products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the leadership team.

You Have

• Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• Frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds.
• Receive feedback and work well in a team environment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check.
• For PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck.
• Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience.
