About the Role

Dallas Retirement Village is a uniquely uplifting senior living community located in Dallas, Oregon. Our 30-acre campus blends seamlessly with the natural landscape of the Mid-Willamette Valley. We are seeking an experienced full-time housekeeper for our Health Center area.

Schedule

Full-time day shift, Sunday - Thursday.

Pay

$17.30 - $20.08 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and fresh environment for residents and visitors, including resident rooms and common areas.
• Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and removing trash.
• Complete work orders and side jobs as assigned.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection control protocols.
• Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned according to schedule and safety regulations.
• Maintain and clean equipment and resident items as necessary.
• Complete daily documentation and checklists as assigned.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions.
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and comply with department dress code.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, push, pull carts, and perform other physical movements.
• Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, and work effectively with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and subordinates.
• Must perform duties in a timely manner consistent with resident needs and assigned schedules.
• Must understand and apply Dallas Retirement Village policies and procedures.
• Must be able to work safely with chemicals.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
