Responsibilities

• Completes daily notes reflecting patient's response to treatment, actual performance, and status, supporting reimbursement.
• Provides educational materials and methods appropriate to the patient's level of understanding and motivation.
• Participates in committees, department processes, and special projects.
• Works to develop and maintain professional relationships with members of healthcare teams.
• Participates in internal and external marketing as per department expectations.
• Creates a culture of respectful communication by listening, asking for team member input, and acknowledging contributions.
• Accepts constructive feedback and makes timely changes.
• Proactively completes non-patient care responsibilities within established timelines.
• Contributes to educational efforts of department/clinic.
• Actively participates in student clinical or observation programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Illinois.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.
• Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
