About the Role
JRI’s In-Home Behavioral Services program is a home-based service committed to assisting youth in identifying and reducing challenging behaviors. Our staff and interns work closely with the child and their family to create and implement individualized behavior plans to improve the child’s functioning. Our treatment approach is rooted in behavioral fundamentals and individualized to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to use new clinical interventions to support youth and families.
- Explore your clinical knowledge through use of evidence-based modalities.
- Strengthen your documentation skills and use of electronic medical records.
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families.
- Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and the team to apply ABA principles in creating tailored behavior intervention plans aimed at improving skills and reducing challenging behaviors.
Requirements
- Minimum working towards a master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or related field is required (2nd year students preferred).
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required; familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Comfort with technology and learning various electronic systems is required.
- Must have daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle and an active Driver’s License (background and driving record checks will be performed).
