About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students based on their unique needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the educational team to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Provide direct instruction and guidance to students in various subjects including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license in special education.
• Experience working with students who have hearing and/or visual impairments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass a background check and health clearance.

Skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
