Responsibilities
- Oversight of IEP/DPG development and coordination for students grades 9-12
- Liaison with funding sources and parents, scheduling and participating in formal IEP and related meetings
- Training, monitoring, and guidance to staff on developing, writing, implementing, documenting, and recording IEP/DPG
- Collaboration with Local Education Agency representatives during the IEP process
- Implementation of relevant staff development
Requirements
- Valid teaching certificate in special education, preferably a master's degree, and 3 years of teaching experience
- Experience with a variety of formal and informal assessment measures and excellent analysis and interpretation skills
- Outstanding organization and written expression abilities
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
Salary range is $80,000 - $100,000 for a 12-month contract, depending on education and experience.
