IECMH Services Team Lead

About the role

This individual is responsible for the coordination of our IECMH services, and other Prevention services as assigned. Ensures fidelity for team knowledge of the IECMH/Prevention standards, the Ohio Model of Consultation, IECMH contracts, and community partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day guidance and coordination for assigned staff, including onboarding support, regular check-ins, coaching, and collaboration with program leadership regarding staff development and performance needs.
  • Safeguards the delivery of IECMHC and Prevention services across settings in counties where Harbor maintains funded grants or contracts, including individual, programmatic, and classroom consultation.
  • Aids staff and community partners in identifying appropriate referral options for clients exhibiting signs and symptoms indicative of mental health treatment needs.
  • Aids in the provision of prevention education and alcohol and other drug information to parents and guardians of the client population.
  • Aids in the documentation and reporting of required outcomes and data associated with grant-funded programs and partner agreements.
  • Aids in the development, innovation, and implementation of IECMH and Prevention programming.
  • Contributes to grant and RFP development as requested.
  • Aids in program data collection efforts to ensure accurate tracking of services and outcomes.
  • Collaborates with program leadership on budget development and implementation related to IECMH and Prevention initiatives.
  • Utilizes required documentation systems in formats appropriate and acceptable to Harbor and relevant funding partners.
  • Safeguards the team in meeting or exceeding program and unit expectations established by Harbor.
  • Collaborates with leadership and team members in developing IECMH programming to meet community needs.
  • Participates in department and agency committees, activities, and projects, fostering collaborative relationships with internal staff and community partners.
  • Maintains awareness of emerging trends and best practices related to IECMH and prevention, supporting continued professional development and growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Child and Family Studies, or related mental health field.
  • Experience in providing IECMH.
  • Proficient and accurate in computer use, including Microsoft 365, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient in internet use for web-based reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and organized, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate is required to earn their Ohio ECMH Professional Credential once eligible; candidate will be required to earn their Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS) or Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant (OCPC) certification.
  • CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and show proof of personal auto insurance policy to be deemed insurable with Harbor’s vehicle insurance carrier.
  • When applicable, non-licensed staff will be required to complete 20 hours of CEUs every 24 months.
  • Must maintain active licensure in good standing.
