IDO Delivery Manager

About the role

Deloitte's Sourcing and Procurement practice helps clients transform their Strategic Sourcing & Procurement functions into strategic partners for their businesses. The practice is differentiated by an executable mindset, focus, and strategy capabilities, delivering strategies through strong category experience, operating‑model expertise, broad knowledge, management skills, and global reach. The team advises companies on savings opportunities in direct Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and enables digital transformation of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement functions through technology assessments, selection, implementation, and continuous operations (e.g., Coupa, Ariba).

Responsibilities

• Lead core delivery execution for industrial data and analytics engagements, coordinating onshore and offshore teams.
• Manage clear, client‑facing delivery communications and translate technical work into practical delivery plans.
• Own design oversight of the data integration layer between operational technology (OT) sources and cloud analytics platforms, including lakehouse schemas, time‑series mapping, cloud landing zone architecture, and pipeline patterns.
• Review offshore data‑engineering output, identify architectural risks, and guide corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Databricks and AWS alliance solution architects for platform‑specific design input early in engagements.
• Mentor team members and provide clear guidance throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience in consulting and/or industry, with a background as a data platform architect, senior data engineer, or similar technical delivery leader.
• Proven experience leading delivery on industrial data, manufacturing analytics, operational technology (OT), or related data‑platform programs.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to manage execution across multiple workstreams while maintaining focus on architecture quality and delivery outcomes.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and hyperscaler ecosystems; exposure to Databricks and AWS preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% on average, based on client and industry needs.

Pay

The estimated compensation range for this role is $155,600 to $306,800, reflecting factors such as skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. The range does not account for geographic differentials. Additionally, the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules and individual/organizational performance.
