IDMC SaaS Technical Architect

About the role

Own the IDMC technical architecture, including environment strategy across Dev/QA/UAT/Prod tenants, Secure Agent configuration, connectivity, security, performance, and non-functional design.

Design and freeze integration patterns and payload contracts to S/4HANA and Azure Fabric, covering delta detection, watermark persistence and recovery (A5), reconciliation controls (A4), and end-to-end observability (A8).

Serve as a joint approver on the Architecture Board for any interface-contract change. Coordinate with SAP BTP, infrastructure, and Informatica product support.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain IDMC environment strategy across Dev/QA/UAT/Prod tenants.
• Configure and optimize Secure Agent, connectivity, security, and performance.
• Design integration patterns and payload contracts for S/4HANA and Azure Fabric, including delta detection, watermark persistence, reconciliation controls, and observability.
• Approve interface-contract changes as a member of the Architecture Board.
• Collaborate with SAP BTP, infrastructure teams, and Informatica product support.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Informatica.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IDMC SaaS.
• Deep knowledge of CDI/CAI architecture and REST/API contract design.
• Experience with S/4 integration boundaries.
