About the role

The Identity Intelligence Analyst will support watchlist or screening and vetting efforts. They will examine terrorism information from nominations to export following established criteria, standards, and policies. They will make recommendations regarding the nomination and watch listing process. They will support nomination QA/QC reviews. Additionally, they will screen and vet individuals traveling to the US by reviewing non-immigrant and immigrant Visa applicants against TIDE and other IC databases.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, triage, review, and process terrorist information/nominations from diverse US Government agencies.
  • Examine terrorism information from nominations to export following established criteria, standards, and policies.
  • Make recommendations regarding the nomination and watch listing process.
  • Support nomination QA/QC reviews.
  • Use appropriate tools and analytic tradecraft to evaluate, analyze, and integrate relevant identity information to reveal foreign traveler links to terrorism for the State Department adjudication and watch listing purposes.
  • Apply the call chain analysis process to determine relationships, patterns, trends, indicators, and warnings to identify and report CT intelligence gaps.

Requirements

  • Required TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability to be flexible to perform a wide variety of tasks, change focus quickly, and adapt to meet mission requirements.
  • Experience working with MS Office tools.
  • Experience working with IC tools and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytic, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to obtain and maintain access to customer systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IC organizations, policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Experience analyzing intelligence reports and cables.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59,150.00 - $106,925.00. Additional factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law, will be considered in extending an offer.
