Identity Architect

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Identity Architect to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will shape the organization’s identity architecture and security controls across a highly regulated, mission-driven environment. You will design and strengthen zero trust identity capabilities that support secure operations, compliance obligations, and resilient access management. The position partners closely with security, infrastructure, and compliance stakeholders to ensure identity solutions are scalable, standards-aligned, and appropriate for a fast-moving technical setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a Zero Trust identity framework
• Architect identity solutions to align with NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171
• Implement identity-based fencing to support ITAR and EAR compliance
• Ensure identity solutions use FIPS 140-3 validated encryption
• Map identity threats to the MITRE ATT&CK framework and design safeguards
• Automate identity lifecycle management to support timely access control
• Architect privileged access management processes, including secure procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or Computer Science; experience may substitute for degree
• 7+ years of experience in IAM architecture or high-level Cyber Security Engineering
• CISSP or CISM certification preferred
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, uncertain environments
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver quality results under pressure

Pay

$125,000 – $150,000 annually
