About the Role

Identity is at the core of most modern security failures — and the AI systems of tomorrow need to understand exactly how and why. We're looking for experienced IAM professionals to work alongside world-leading AI research teams, bringing real-world expertise to scenarios that matter.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and attack paths
  • Classify permission issues, privilege escalation vectors, and identity-related failures
  • Review zero-trust models and access design decisions for correctness and risk exposure
  • Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate AI systems
  • Provide structured, expert feedback on how AI reasons about enterprise identity risk

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
  • Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
  • Familiar with how identity failures occur and how attackers exploit them in real environments
  • Analytical and detail-oriented — able to spot subtle misconfigurations and policy gaps
  • Clear written communicator who can explain complex security concepts concisely
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an async, remote setting

Nice to Have

  • Experience with platforms like Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or similar enterprise identity tools
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, or zero-trust architecture
  • Background in security engineering, cloud security, or identity governance
  • Prior experience in AI data annotation or evaluation workflows

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs and teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — complete tasks on your own schedule
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with a global community of experts
  • Meaningful work that puts your real-world security knowledge to use in a novel, high-impact way
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
