Identity failures are at the root of most modern enterprise breaches — and the AI systems of tomorrow need to understand exactly how and why they happen. We're looking for experienced IAM professionals to work with Alignerr, partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to help build smarter, more security-aware AI models. This is a unique opportunity to apply your deep knowledge of identity systems, access control, and enterprise security in a high-impact, fully remote contract role.
About the role
This is a fully remote, hourly contract position requiring 10–40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and exploitable paths
- Classify permission issues, privilege escalation vectors, and identity-related failures
- Review zero-trust architectures and evaluate access design decisions for soundness
- Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate frontier AI systems
- Provide structured expert feedback that directly shapes how AI reasons about enterprise security risk
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
- Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
- Able to identify how identity failures occur and how attackers leverage them
- Clear and structured written communicator
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Skills
- Experience with platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or similar (nice to have)
- Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect protocols (nice to have)
- Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security architecture (nice to have)
- Prior experience with AI training or data annotation projects (nice to have)
