Identity & Access Management (IAM) LABUR is partnering with a client to identify an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) professional for a hands-on development engagement. This role follows a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code and design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of IAM projects across the full project lifecycle.
  • Design and implement enterprise-level IAM solutions encompassing identity governance, authentication, and privileged access management (PAM) systems in a hands-on development capacity.
  • Serve as the IAM subject-matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams, QA, operations, and compliance personnel throughout solution delivery and ongoing operations.
  • Ensure all critical systems and applications integrate with centralized IAM infrastructure and comply with security policies, data privacy requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Enforce strong authentication mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and the principle of least privilege across all digital environments.
  • Monitor IAM systems for anomalies and security risks, act as an escalation point for IAM-related incidents, and investigate and remediate vulnerabilities including credential misuse and privilege escalation (preferred).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software development experience including 6+ years of hands-on IAM technical and coding expertise, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a development lead capacity managing full lifecycle IAM implementations.
  • Hands-on proficiency with IAM platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, CyberArk, Azure AD, or similar tools.
  • Expert-level knowledge of industry-standard IAM protocols including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Service Models, and DevOps practices, including project planning, staffing, and estimation.
  • Experience developing APIs in a MuleSoft environment.
  • Proven ability to manage offshore teams and systems integrator (SI) partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.

Pay

$75-$85/hr - Dependent on fit and experience
