Key Responsibilities
- Providing safe, high-quality patient care in acute care hospital settings
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and physicians
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
- Educating patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions
Qualifications And Skills Required
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience within the past 4 years
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- Covid-19 vaccination or approved exemption
