About the role
Seeking an experienced ICU nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center’s Step-Down ICU and ICU units.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Develop and implement personalized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Apply critical thinking to assess and respond to patient needs
- Escalate concerns promptly and appropriately
- Guide and support other units as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Current Illinois nursing license
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
