ICU Registered Nurse

Job Summary

You will deliver high-quality patient care according to individual physician orders. Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing knowledge and skills to educate patients and families on prevention and healthy habits.
• Providing individualized, comprehensive care through critical assessments, skilled procedures, and implementation of care plans.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient monitoring and assess needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physicians' orders.
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families.

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in your state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred.
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required for some specialty areas.

Where You'll Work

Patients Medical Center (PMC) provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. Located in Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, Baytown, and Clear Lake, PMC offers a variety of primary and specialized services, including wound care, general surgery, gastroenterology, occupational health, heart and vascular services, women's services, diagnostic imaging, outpatient rehab services, and sleep disorders.

Pay Range

$33.00 - $52.80 /hour
