About the role

The ICU/Critical Care Registered Nurse - Southeastern 2 Market Regional Resource Pool (SAMC, SPAH, & SVBGH) is a self-scheduling flexi/prn position. Flexi/PRN Night Shift: The team member must enter at least 72 hours pre-scheduled time per 6-week period (12 hrs/wk) in API. Offers Premium Differential Pay, Flexible Self-Scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Performs a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
• Maintains standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation).
• Maintains standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health).
• Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years (most recent experience) as RN in acute care setting.
• Available to work 12 hours per week FLEXI status, a minimum of 72 hours per 6-weeks; of which 12 hours are scheduled on a weekend shift and 12 hours off-shift requirement per 6-weeks.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse License (Required).
• Registered Nurse Diploma (Required).
• BLS within 90 days of hire (Required).
