ICPR Clinical Case Manager - FT
ICPR = Intensive Community-Based Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Requires traveling throughout the St. Louis city and county to meet with clients in their homes to provide crisis-based therapy services, family therapy, and behavioral-based interventions for families, youth, and young adults.
About the role
BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron, and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.
The Clinical Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to maximize opportunities available to people living in the community who are trying to recover from the catastrophic effects of a serious mental illness.
Responsibilities
- Authorizes, coordinates, monitors, and adjusts services with contract providers.
- Identifies, develops, and maintains good relationships and linkages with a wide range of community resources.
- Ensures follow-through with appointments by assisting clients to keep appointments.
- Provides collaborative clinical case management services.
A typical day will usually consist of therapy sessions, coordination with the case management team, and session note writing.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- 2-5 years of experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Must be fully licensed in MO – LPC or LCSW, or provisionally licensed in MO – PLPC, LMSW
- Class D (IL) or Class E (MO) driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours/week – benefits eligible
- Day shift with flexibility to meet with clients, including evening shift flexibility
- Services provided during daytime hours, but a standard on-call system is in place
- Team and supervisor provide coverage when employee is on PTO
Pay
Up to $2,300 sign-on bonus.
