Ice Rink - Managers on Duty Positions - Seasonal

Important Duties

• Assist facility management to ensure that all ice rink programs, or scheduled activities and departments operate on time, as scheduled, and on a daily basis.
• Supervise staff by ensuring that employees are at their scheduled workstation performing assigned duties.
• Drive ice resurfacing equipment and sharpen skates (we will train).
• Respond in a timely manner to requests for information from both facility management and customers.
• Aid management in upholding the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the operation.
• Create a positive and professional atmosphere by consistently displaying a professional appearance and demeanor, while demonstrating superior customer service skills, attention to detail and pride in producing a first-class experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ice skating and ice rink operations.
• Experience in supervising staff preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible shifts include early mornings, midday, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Pay rate is based on experience and qualifications. Starting at $15.45 - $18.72/hr.

Supplemental Information

• May be subject to medical, drug, and alcohol testing.
• These positions are seasonal (part-time) and do not include benefits.
• All selected candidates must display excellent customer service skills, attain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (training classes available) and attend in-house orientation.
• Ages 16-17 must have a work permit if hired.
• Ongoing continued training and internal growth opportunities available.
