Responsibilities

  • Manage North America Engineering Stakeholders and support the Portfolio Procurement Manager for Capex portfolios.
  • Lead Red List and Technology Sensitive projects.
  • Support Quality, Hygienic, and Manufacturing Excellence Teams with local and global suppliers.
  • Assist the Global Procurement Manager with Capex Procurement strategy and escalation.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies relevant for projects, including data analysis and negotiation strategy definition.
  • Support the project technology team in identifying new capable suppliers and conducting supplier assessments.
  • Manage and advise on 7-step sourcing projects, including preparation, assessment, and negotiation of tenders.
  • Evaluate and facilitate decision-making processes, considering costs related to product life cycle, spare parts, service required, and consumptions.
  • Negotiate legal documentation, such as Master Purchase Agreements and Commercial Terms, with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with 'Schedule of Authority' applicable for the project and country.
  • Develop and implement TMICC procurement strategies relevant for assigned projects.
  • Manage and oversee suppliers involved in assigned projects, ensuring timely payment and supplier onboarding.
  • Oversee updates to portfolio trackers for savings, cash, projects, and contracts.
  • Lead, advise, and support UPA/CTC negotiations with support from Legal for local and global technologies.
  • Raise and negotiate claims on portfolio suppliers.
  • Actively engage with and manage suppliers on a strategic level, providing feedback.
  • Identify and agree cost savings and cash benefit generation based on portfolios/sourcing strategies/compliance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience, preferably within a technical procurement position.
  • Superior stakeholder management, both internal and external.
  • Ability to operate independently and in a large organization with complex decision structures/remote relationships.
  • Experience in legal contracting, project, and relationship management.
  • Proactive and positive team player.
  • Good negotiation skills for both external and internal negotiations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Methodical and organized.
  • Good skills in MS Office (more than average on MS Excel), SharePoint, and other common tools for office and communication automation.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of legislations/laws and operating context for North America.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of procurement and/or engineering education preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Schedule

This is a full-time project-based assignment that is anticipated to last 2 years. The selected individual will be eligible to apply to available internal opportunities following completion of the project, although no continued employment is guaranteed.
