Ice Cream Packaging Technician - 3rd Shift / 11pm to 7:30am / Sunday to Thursday

Shift: 3rd Shift / 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM / Sunday to Thursday – additional days or overtime as required to complete daily demands.

About the Role

As a core member of our production team, you will be expected to:

• Oversee the proper flow of finished product entering and exiting the packaging equipment, including case packing, shrink wrappers, and other peripheral packaging processes.
• Be responsible for maintaining the packaging center sanitation in accordance with all company guidelines and state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety.
• Operate and become well-versed in shrink wrappers, case packers, and other peripheral support packaging equipment.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and effectively communicate with all levels of co-workers.
• Perform recordkeeping accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and clean the packaging center in a sanitary manner as per company policies and programs.
• Learn and adhere to department-specific SQF and GMP requirements.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time.

Pay

• Base pay rate: $19.82/hour – $22.05/hour.
• Shift differential: $0.50.
