About the role

This position involves performing various tasks related to maintaining a clean and efficient production environment, including housekeeping, mixing, flavoring, and sensory evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining housekeeping standards throughout the facility
• Calculating and adjusting sauce and ingredient usage as needed for production
• Transferring mix into flavor tanks using a computerized plant operating system
• Flavoring mix according to recipes and recording usage on flavor reports
• Performing sensory evaluations on finished products to ensure quality
• Adjusting schedules to maintain production efficiency
• Monitoring and addressing issues on the production line
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
• Assisting with breaks and lunches for other team members
• Interacting with staff, associates, and regulatory personnel
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Safe working habits
• Able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
• Obtain forklift license and operate forklift
• Able to learn and perform all positions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good human relations skills
• Able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Adequate attendance and punctuality
• Excellent safety work habits
• Able to assist other team members in other areas
• Able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
• Able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• Able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Possess basic math skills
• Able to communicate effectively
