Ice Cream Filler Operator (2nd shift)

About the role

As an Ice Cream Filler Operator at Friendly's Ice Cream, you will help manufacture fresh, delicious ice cream products. By joining DFA, you can contribute to making a difference that matters in our communities while working for a company that values diversity and the well-being of its team.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling equipment to produce ice cream products.
• Stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually the entire shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, including overhead.
• Work in a wet environment with some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred, particularly within the food and beverage industry.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass all pre-employment screens, including drug, background, and criminal checks.

Pay

$21.37 per hour base rate, plus $0.80 differential for 2nd shift.

Schedule

Monday to Friday with seasonal Saturdays, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.
