Ice Cream Class Instructor
Role
Autonomously execute and effectively manage all classroom operations, leading engaging and interactive classes of up to 8 guests.
Professionally teach and demonstrate fundamental and advanced ice cream techniques, following provided class outline & materials, adapting when unexpected circumstances arise.
Represent the Sundae brand and culture by creating memorable educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty.
Prepare and organize classroom; coordinate with the production department to ensure all products are available.
Accurately check in guests for each class, ensuring all required items are complete prior to entering the classroom.
Accommodate guest needs, varying age groups, and learning styles gracefully and with patience, ensuring that each guest has an exceptional experience.
Properly handle all tools, ingredients, and kitchen equipment to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Maintain expert level knowledge of the Sundae brand by staying current on products, actively engaging in available training, and independently seeking out additional resources.
Uphold exceptional cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout the classroom facility to meet or exceed food safety requirements as established by local and state health departments and industry best practices.
Accurately maintain inventory levels, minimize waste, and control classroom supply expense.
Adhere to all Sundae policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
Teaching or instructional experience or equivalent required.
Baking and pastry experience preferred.
Must be 18 or older.
Ability to communicate with clients confidently and professionally.
Comfortable engaging with and communicating with a wide range of ages from 6 to 99.
Physical Requirements
Move, traverse or remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours.
Occasionally move up to 25 pounds for a distance of 50 feet or more.
Occasionally ascend/descend ladder to clean or lift items stored above.
Occasionally position self to clean, maintain equipment, and retrieve items below counter height.
Benefits
Hourly Compensation Range: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
