ICAM Solutions Architect SME

GDIT is seeking a Solutions Architect SME for our Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program, supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. As an ICAM Solutions Architect SME, your experience and skills will be relied upon to ensure GDIT maintains its leadership position in the ICAM space. You will be part of a team delivering cybersecurity solutions in unclassified and classified environments across enterprise, global, cloud, on-premises, and tactical levels.

About the role

The position is remote with periodic continental U.S. and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ICAM SME for a wide variety of internal and external program activities.
• Perform advanced systems design, development, and integration throughout the systems life cycle.
• Provide and apply advanced engineering to complex infrastructures, including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for engineering processes and procedures.
• Identify customer requirements, analyze alternatives, and conduct product recommendations.
• Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and work with management to evolve processes.
• Provide system, equipment, and specialized training and technical guidance.
• Coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals.
• Serve as a task or project leader (not a people manager).
• Develop plans, drawings, white papers, and briefs.
• Participate in Scrum meetings.
• Conduct analysis of alternatives to determine the best solutions supporting business goals.
• Engineer, develop, and implement COTS and GOTS products.
• Lead and participate in technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum active Secret security clearance; must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification or higher.
• Active Computing Environmental (CE) certification in job-related duties such as Microsoft Cloud, AWS Cloud, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform Solution Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, or similar.
• 15+ years of related technical experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with standard ICAM products, such as SailPoint, Radiant Logic, Microsoft, CyberArk, Okta, Ping, Xage, Beyond Trust, Saviynt, and similar products.
• Extensive experience with ICAM standards and protocols.
• Extensive experience creating architecture solutions for DoD or federal environments.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $255,000 - $345,000. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
