Responsibilities
- Align closely with UberEther’s delivery teams and be accountable for strategic engagements.
- Define strategic capabilities, augment and build road-maps, and associated patterns and blueprints.
- Interface with all levels of government customers, contract team, and service partners as needed to create and complete core deliverables.
- Create comprehensive strategic roadmaps for customer engagements.
- Develop and present well-reasoned recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders, weighing trade-offs across cost, risk, timeline, and technical fit to support informed decision-making.
- Elicit, capture, and document detailed functional and technical requirements, translating customer needs into clear, traceable requirements documentation.
- Produce detailed design documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, and data flow diagrams, to guide implementation teams.
- Create clear, professional architectural diagrams (current-state, future-state, and target architectures) using standard notations such as UML to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate and provide mentorship to junior staff.
- Work with team to develop implementable solution patterns, solution alternatives, and implementation contingency planning.
- Create bleeding edge patterns for modern zero trust architecture – inclusive of networking, segmentation, identity management, data protection, intrusion detection, etc.
- Create and maintain a full suite of technical documentation to support delivery, including requirements documents, solution/design documents, architectural diagrams, and other artifacts needed by delivery and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Absolutely required: United States Citizen. Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must currently hold an active secret clearance or above.
- Education: Bachelor's in computer science, information systems or other related fields; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of work experience as an engineer, architect, or consultant with a focus on zero trust patterns.
- Experience: Experience with at least 3 ICAM products (Radiant Logic, Ping, Nok Nok, SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, ForgeRock).
- Knowledge: Well versed in methodologies such as the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Zachmann Framework, OWASP, and UML diagramming.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of core zero trust network, networking, intrusion detection, identity management, application security, cloud capabilities for each area: Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, and Software-as-a-Service, and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture inclusive of DoD Networks, Architecture, Identity & Credential Access Mgmt (ICAM) stacks.
- Ability: Proven ability to architect and design complex effective ICAM solutions.
- Communication: Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
Location
This role is offered as a hybrid position with three days per week on-site at a customer location in Alexandria, VA.
