Detailed Job Description

This position will work on tax modernization in the platform's operations team as a part of the scheduling and automations team. Tax modernization is a multi-year project focused on modernizing the IT infrastructure and applications for the NYS tax department. One of the key components of that is modernizing the day-to-day operations through scheduling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of IBM z/OS operations, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and batch processing concepts.
• Experience with workload automation concepts including calendars, dependencies, critical paths, and event-driven scheduling.
