IAM System Admin

About the role
RTX is seeking an IAM System Admin to join the Classified Digital Services (CDS) Identity and Access Management (IdAM) team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support for both technical and operational aspects of MFA systems, including implementation of a new MFA software solution, token distribution, and ongoing maintenance to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Multifactor Authentication (MFA) solutions to secure sensitive organizational data.
- Administer and maintain MFA platforms across Linux and Windows operating systems for peak performance and reliability.
- Configure and manage MFA user accounts, troubleshoot authentication issues, and resolve them promptly to enhance user satisfaction.
- Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain platform stability.
- Monitor system logs and address MFA authentication-related issues to ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reporting, and training materials for end-users and administrators.
- Manage MFA software licenses, token utilization, and inventory.
- Collaborate across multiple sites and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience in Identity and Access Management practices and ITIL methodologies.
- Experience with Multifactor Authentication.
- Experience with Windows 11, RHEL 9/10, and Windows Server systems for agent issues.
- Experience in networking and networking concepts, including basic network troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, tracert).
- Experience with Active Directory concepts and basic AD tools (e.g., ADUC, DNS, sites and services).
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TOP SECRET security clearance (required prior to start date).
- Security+ Certification or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and automation tools to streamline processes.
- Knowledge of RSA SecurID Software and Portals.
- Knowledge of Centrify (Delinea) implementation, configuration, and management.
- Knowledge of Certificates and Certificate Management, along with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Knowledge of Apache Tomcat, including installation, configuration, performance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SUSE Linux, specifically in managing and configuring Authentication Manager OS.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
