About the role
The IAM Engineer will manage user identities across on-premises and cloud applications, focusing on security and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Configure and integrate IAM platforms like Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, Active Directory, and CyberArk
- Administer privileged access and enforce least privilege standards
- Monitor access logs for security events and build SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies
- Participate in access reviews and certifications, and troubleshoot complex access issues
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to support new integrations and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Experience configuring and operating enterprise IAM platforms
- Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, SSO, and federation concepts
- Scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
Qualifications
- Certifications such as Azure/AWS Associate, Okta Certified, or equivalent
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting aviation and transportation
Skills
- Understanding of access reviews, identity governance, and privileged access management
