Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as Crew Foreman on construction crew and direct departmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Delegate and outline the tasks involved in the project and coordinate internal resources to ensure streamlined execution of projects.
- Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Effectively communicates Pre-Job / JIS / Job Goals to internal and external customers.
- Works with operations to effectively support equipment needs.
- Delivers all reporting deliverables and data updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Creates and maintains all project documentation.
- Follows and enforces the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
- Participates in JSA and uses all necessary steps to complete tasks safely and ensures the safety of others working in the area.
- Communicates with all levels of management and crew to effectively present any needs and changes.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Oversees a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
- Builds and maintains relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Confidence to STOP work when a problem is immediately identified.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of construction job sites and project plans.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to adhere to a written method or procedure.
- Confidence to STOP work when a problem is immediately identified.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, including email.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to learn, understand and apply new Organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
