I.T. Manager

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lincoln, RI, responsible for overseeing all information technology operations within the bakery and Depots.

Responsibilities

• Oversee network infrastructure, servers, hardware, and software systems supporting production, distribution, and office functions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate upgrades, backups, and security measures.
• Manage user accounts and access, provide technical support and training to staff, and work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement new solutions.
• Plan and execute IT projects, aligning technology initiatives with business goals, and maintain documentation of systems, processes, and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in managing network infrastructure, servers, and hardware systems in a business or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of enterprise software, Infor Syteline ERP systems, and production or inventory management applications, with the ability to support and optimize these tools.
• Proficiency in system administration, data backup and recovery, cybersecurity practices, and user access management.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, provide responsive end-user support, and coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
• Experience leading IT projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation of systems and processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with operations, management, and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industrial setting is beneficial.
