About the role
Linde Inc. is seeking an I&E Technician to join our team in Claremore, OK. This position supports the safe and reliable operation of production facilities through various maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform instrumentation, electrical, and controls maintenance activities to support production facilities
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair process control instrumentation, analyzers, control valves, controllers, electrical systems (up to 600VAC), motor controls, low-voltage distribution systems, pneumatics, and related process equipment
- Utilize P&IDs, schematic wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, and other technical documentation to diagnose and resolve equipment and process control issues
- Schedule, plan, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while documenting work orders, service reports, calibration records, equipment history, and repair activities in CMMS systems in accordance with company standards
- Perform analyzer calibration and maintenance for both process operations and final product quality testing
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available and replenished as needed
- Support plant operations, including process startup, shutdown, and system adjustments to maintain safe and efficient production
- Supervise and instruct contractor personnel, ensuring compliance with all safety rules, regulations, and environmental requirements
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and safe work practices while performing equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs, including work at heights using ladders, stairways, and man-lifts
- Perform a combination of office and field-based work, travel domestically as needed (less than 10%), work in varying weather conditions, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule with off-hours availability to support plant operations
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Applied Sciences or completion of an equivalent apprenticeship program preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in process control instrumentation, electrical maintenance, or a related technical field
- Proficiency with instrumentation and electrical tools, calibration equipment, and testing devices
- Working knowledge of electrical fundamentals, electrical systems, motors, and process control equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematic wiring diagrams, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and other technical documentation
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer skills and experience utilizing maintenance systems, documentation tools, and standard software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
