About the role
The position is in the industrial electrical and controls field.
Responsibilities
- Perform work involving medium voltage power transmission
- Routinely work on field instrumentation, and PLCs
- Knowledge and experience with PC systems (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, Lotus Notes)
- Primarily daylight work schedules with overtime opportunities and occasional weekend work
- Work both individually and within teams
- Quote and purchase own replacement parts
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Five years of experience in industry
- Medium voltage, field instrumentation, PLC knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs
- Ability to work within a computerized maintenance management system (SAP)
- Ability to perform effective preventive maintenance
- Ability to read and understand equipment specification sheets and drawings (loop sheets, one line diagrams, P&IDs)
- Show initiative and be skilled communicators
Qualifications
- Education - High school education or equivalent
- Experience - Five years of experience in industry
Skills
- PC knowledge and experience with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel) and e-mail systems such as Lotus Notes

Pay
Pay is on a progressive scale with increases aligned with skills demonstrated.
