Responsibilities
- Cook up a team of field I&E technicians
- Build a culture that keeps questioning the usual way things are done
- Influence others in Maintenance and other departments to embrace Murphy's "management by exception" philosophy
- Help implement SAP across all operations
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks for facility repairs, installations, and modifications using SAP
- Design and plan new customer connections and optimize existing facilities where automation or electronic management is required
- Draw red lines to keep track of facilities and maintain current records
- Estimate materials and labor for projects and coordinate with scheduling
- Oversee scheduled integrity tests of critical safety and protective devices according to applicable codes and procedures
- Interact with other functions like HSE, Operations, Engineering, and Accounting to facilitate communication and set direction
- Diagnose, analyze faults, and repair computerized control systems related to metering, control devices, control systems (PLC, relay logic, etc.), and more
- Support special projects as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience with terminal automation systems, SCADA, or similar industry experience
- Experience with production equipment including tanks, valves, pumps, electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, and safety and production systems
- Must be willing to work weekends and on-call once a month or as needed
- Live within 70 miles of Jourdanton, TX
- Physical requirements include standing, stooping, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and wearing various PPE in extreme temperatures
