Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including Hyundai and other makes as needed
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues, repairs, and recommendations
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, repair techniques, and manufacturer updates
- Work collaboratively with the service team to meet productivity and quality goals
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic, preferably with dealership or service center experience
- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, mechanical and electrical systems, and repair procedures
- ASE certification or manufacturer-specific certifications preferred (Hyundai experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
