Responsibilities

- Prepare complete cost estimates for projects.
- Monitor program of work to ensure estimates are completed on time.
- Participate in estimate review processes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Aid construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle in tracking and understanding the basis of cost estimates.
- Complete final cost estimates, adding all necessary labor, equipment, material data, pricing documentation, overhead, and profit margins.
- Conduct detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine overall project requirements.
- Take ownership of medium to large size estimates or components of larger estimates and be accountable for their specific work scope.
- Review current material and construction equipment pricing and ensure bid validity and price escalation meet project needs.
- Support estimating efforts across multiple office locations and maintain data in E2 systems.
- Read and understand blueprints.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience considered.
- RCDD certification required.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience estimating large scale HYPERSCALE data center projects, including mission-critical data centers and colocation facilities.
- Structured Cabling/Low Voltage industry experience required.
- Bluebeam expertise is required.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/BIM360 is preferred.
- Proven understanding of the intricacies of working in the Hyperscale market, including variations in design between major hyperscale customer infrastructure platforms.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
- Proven ability to design, engineer, estimate, and develop written and graphic representations of the company's proposed solutions using provided software resources.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Impeccable problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated detail orientation.
- Demonstrated and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work in teams and foster confidence in all.
- Proven estimating skills and understanding of conceptual estimating skillset.
- Ability to independently develop accurate, detailed, complete estimates.
Qualifications
