Hyperscale Data Center Electrical Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager with a strong background in Hyperscale or Mission Critical Data Center projects. The ideal candidate will manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with field operations, engineering, subcontractors, clients, and vendors while overseeing project planning, procurement, scheduling, financial performance, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management Lead electrical construction projects from planning through completion.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and profitability.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Cooky with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.

Pre-Construction & Procurement

• Prepare project budgets, Schedule of Values (SOV), purchase orders, subcontracts, and material plans.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Procure major electrical equipment and manage the submittal and RFI process.

Scheduling & Resource Planning

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Forecast manpower requirements and monitor project milestones.
• Cooky workforce planning with field operations.

Material & Subcontractor Management

• Oversee material procurement, logistics, inventory, and equipment.
• Manage subcontractor performance, scope, scheduling, and billing.

Safety & Quality

• Ensure compliance with project safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and monitor QA/QC processes.
• Manage inspections, testing, documentation, and punch lists.

Cost & Financial Management

• Monitor project costs, budgets, labor, and change orders.
• Prepare monthly WIP reports, cost forecasts, and project financial updates.
• Track contract value, billings, purchase orders, and project profitability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• 5-10+ years of Project Management experience with an Electrical Contractor.
• Experience managing Hyperscale or Mission Critical Data Center projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.

• Office and active construction site environment.
• Must be able to safely navigate job sites and comply with all safety regulations.
• Frequent computer work with occasional site visits.
