Hyperbaric Technician/ LPN - Community Anderson Wound Care
About the Role
Join Community Health Network as a Hyperbaric Oxygen Technician LPN and administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients at the Advanced Wound Center in Community Anderson under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. You will participate as a member of the Care Team, providing clinic wound care services when appropriate, and contribute to achieving positive patient outcomes identified in a patient's plan of care. This role also involves ensuring compliance with the program’s safety standards and recommending departmental safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider.
- Participate as a member of the Care Team to provide clinic wound care services.
- Contribute to achieving positive patient outcomes as outlined in the patient's plan of care.
- Ensure compliance with the program’s safety standards.
- Recommend departmental safety policies and procedures as appropriate.
Requirements
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Complete the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) approved hyperbaric training course within three (3) months from hire (expense covered by Community Health Network).
