Position Title
Hyperbaric Technician
Department
Wound Healing Center
Schedule
Day Shift Full Time 1.0 FTE (40 hours a week)
General Requirements
- Certification as Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) obtained from an approved Hyperbaric Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) program (CHT or Hyperbaric Specialist preferred or);
- Respiratory Therapist in the state of Iowa,
- EMT-Paramedic in the state of Iowa,
- Certified Medical Assistant,
- Certified Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Iowa
Special Training
- Basic Life Support
Experience
- More than 1 year experience required
Personal Attributes
- Comfortable having contact/interactions with others regarding topics that may be complex, detailed, and/or sensitive.
- High level of interpersonal skills to deal with a range of complicated situations.
Education
- High school plus additional course work
- Field of Study: Health Care Studies or hyperbaric studies
