About the role
Join our fun and caring team at Dream Dental in Goodlettsville, TN. We are seeking a friendly, reliable Hygiene Assistant to support our dental team.Responsibilities
- Assist the dental hygienist with patient care and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and process dental X-rays (TN radiography certification required)
- Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
- Keep accurate records and update medical histories
- Promote good oral hygiene through patient education
- Follow safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a dental or hygiene assistant
- Radiology certification in TN (required)
- CPR certification (preferred)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Great communication and a true team-player mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office
Qualifications
- Education and Training
- On the job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
- High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
- Team Player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
