Hygiene Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Full Time Hygiene Assistant to join our team at Colleyville Family Dental. The ideal candidate will assist the Dental Hygienist, prepare patients for treatments or checkups, maintain clean and stocked operatories, and take x-rays.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Dental Hygienist
• Welcome patients
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Select and set up instrumentation, equipment, and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Take x-rays
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Requirements

• Active Texas dental assistant license
• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations

Qualifications

• Experience with digital software
• Excellent interpersonal skills
