About the role
We're hiring a Part-Time Hygiene Assistant to join our Goldsboro team at 2702 Medical Office Pl, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
Responsibilities
- Absorb the hygienist's daily workflow
- Take digital X-rays
- Collect and record patient health histories and vital signs
- Follow sterilization protocols for operatory turnover and set up
- Support patient education and post-appointment instructions
- Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies
- Schedule appointments
- Support additional clinical-related tasks
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
- DA II training or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience assisting hygiene preferred
- NC X-ray Certification
- CORAL POLISHING CERTIFICATE
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to clearly explain treatment plans and insurance information
- Knowledge of Denticon is a plus
