Hygiene Assistant

About the role

We're looking for a Full Time Hygiene Assistant to join our Kannapolis team at 1829 S Ridge Ave, Kannapolis, NC 28083. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside engaged providers and a supportive clinical team in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid the hygienist daily with diverse workflow
• Take digital X-rays
• Collect and record patient health histories and vital signs
• Follow sterilization protocols for operatory turnover and set up
• Support patient education and post-appointment instructions
• Maintain instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies
• Schedule appointments
• Support additional clinical-related tasks

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
• DA II training or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience assisting hygiene preferred
• NC X-ray Certification
• CORAL Polishing Certificate
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Ability to clearly explain treatment plans and insurance information
• Knowledge of Denticon is a plus
