Hygiene Assistant

About the role

As a Hygiene Assistant, you'll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and take proper documentation of the patients visit
• Record and review patients' health history, make chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and assure completion of all necessary forms and signatures needed
• Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health
• Work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients
• Communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach

Requirements

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training
• 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific)
• Current CPR certification
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Pay

$20.00-$24.00/hour based on experience

Schedule

4 days per week: 7:30am-6:00pm
