About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting hydrogeological investigations, analyzing water resources, and developing strategies to manage groundwater supplies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fieldwork including soil sampling, groundwater testing, and data collection
- Develop and implement plans for groundwater management and conservation
- Collaborate with other environmental scientists and engineers to ensure comprehensive project planning
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in hydrogeology
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in GIS software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Knowledge of hydrogeological principles and practices
- Experience with water resource management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
