Hydrogeologist

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting hydrogeological investigations, analyzing water resources, and developing strategies to manage groundwater supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork including soil sampling, groundwater testing, and data collection
  • Develop and implement plans for groundwater management and conservation
  • Collaborate with other environmental scientists and engineers to ensure comprehensive project planning
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in hydrogeology
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in GIS software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hydrogeological principles and practices
  • Experience with water resource management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
