About the role
Rebuild and repair hydraulic cylinders using wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components and remain familiar with how the components work and operate.
Schedule
Training period: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. After training: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in a heavy equipment repair shop environment
- Related pump or cylinder shop experience preferred
Skills
- Proficiency with wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic components, their operation, and proper testing procedures
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
- Lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds
- Standing, sitting, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines
- Normal dexterity and repetitive movements of hands, wrists, and fingers
- Noise levels vary from quiet (office settings) to moderate or loud (shop environments), with potential for sudden loud noises
