Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and mount hydraulic valves and related components.
  • Fabricate, crimp, and install hydraulic hoses for various applications.
  • Install hydraulic systems and components on construction equipment and trucks.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on hydraulic components.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with shop supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working with hydraulic systems, valves, and hoses.
  • Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience using hydraulic hose crimping equipment and installation tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, shop equipment, and hand/power tools safely.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Welding and fabrication experience a plus.

Work Environment

  • Shop and field-based work with exposure to heavy equipment.
  • Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Some overtime may be required based on project schedules.

Compensation

$20.00 per hour
