Hybrid Staff Data Engineer / Databricks / Node.js / React

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines using Azure Databricks and other modern cloud tools
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and related technologies
• Collaborate with technical leadership to optimize system architecture and performance
• Support and enhance analytics systems and data infrastructure
• Work across teams to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end ownership of systems
• Exposure to real-world scale and executive-level visibility
• Influence how data and software systems evolve together

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience building or supporting data pipelines and analytics systems
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
• Ability to work across teams and own systems end-to-end
• Experience with Azure Databricks or large-scale data platforms
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React
• Familiarity with ETL tools, analytics infrastructure, or ad tech platforms
• Experience mentoring engineers or influencing technical standards

• Currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future
