Hybrid SLP needed in Salem, OR - 72 / hr!

About the role

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations as per the plan of care and physician's orders.
• Provide and document therapy services as part of the treatment plan.
• Work closely with parents and schools to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for students.

Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications

• Experience in school-based SLP services is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various locations and client needs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Skills

• Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in using assessment tools and software.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and client needs.

Pay

Weekly Pay: $72

Schedule

40 hours per week, 190-day contract, flexible scheduling, with the possibility of working remotely for paperwork.
